During each season’s Montreal Grand Prix, Honda Canada organizes a gala evening to show its appreciation toward its dealers. This year, as a mark of its commitment to environmental causes, the Formula 1 car’s usual sponsors’ logos were replaced by an image of planet Earth.
A 360° projection displayed moving images of space, nature and the Earth onto curved screens measuring almost 17 feet high. The Watchout image management system allowed for seamless video projection onto these 50 custom-made screens.
A system of 16 self-supporting projectors enabled us to use fiber optics to project a backdrop which create a soothing atmosphere by changing continually according to the evening’s events. LED lighting and a Meyer sound system completed the array of technical equipment.
